The ABS very impact-resistent plastic. It is suitable for the manufacturing of toys, certain autoparts, and home appliances. The most important feature of the ABS is its great tenacity in temperatures as low as -40° C. Very good dimensional stability due to its low water absorption. Hard and rigid, resistant to abrasion, easy to treat superficially, like chrome. Acceptable resistance to chemicals.
